i wanted to make the most out of my first anzac day.
warm sun rays, peaceful chorus and ruska at the ceremonial service outside the university library.
especially today i felt fortunate walking through this alley, that leads right to my office.
as icing on the cake -or rather on the anzac biscuit – i was randomly recruited to run the hagley memorial relay with these guys:
although i haven’t been a runner for several years, i seemed to have some muscle memory left for a short and relaxed race.
this was a fun way to commemorate the history of new zealand.
